From the first moment I spoke to Evan on the phone. I knew his and David's day was going to be full of surprises. The wedding ceremony took place at York Unitarian church but not until the guys had had taken part in the York pride march. Which included the unveiling of their own British-Greek wedding banner at the Minster, to the delight of the pride crowd. A definite goose bump moment. Following a walk through the city taking in all the major tourist locations  The reception was held at the very historic Merchant Adventurers Hall in the city centre.

If you’ve been on my blog before you will know that I love being a Marchant Adventurer's Hall  wedding photographer. What an amazing venue in the beautiful city of York. I’m so honoured to be a regular photographer there.

One of my favourite elements about the venue is the location and access to the major parts of the city, the river the shambles and the iconic York Minster.
